When we do flowline sizing, we always refer to RP 14E,
which gave governing criteria based on P drop, and erosional velocity. On top of that, someone is giving additional selection criteria based on momentum ( i thot that was necessary for feed inlet to process equipment??). Does anybody practise same method. Please advise, what's the impact on momentum criteria exceeding 15000 for flowline sizing? e.g vibration etc.
