Flow through Taps in Drip Irrigation

I have made the whole pipe circuit in Drip Irrigation as similar to electrical circuit. With the source as Head in the over head tank. When a pipe line is opened to atmosphere then it is regarded as grounded as in electrical circuit. Flow Rate similar to Current in electrical circuit
and Pressure difference similatr to voltage difference in electrical circuit.

The head loss in the pipe due to friction is taken as,
Head Loss = square of Flow Rate * Resistance.

Please suggest me with information about flow of water through taps in Drip irrigation. We are putting tap at the end of each tappings taken from main pipe. Then how the tap should be incorporated in the circuit.
