I am using Solidworks 2012 with flow simulation and i need help simulating a virtual wind tunnel. I am trying to simulate the effect air has on a bullet. which i have done a basic flow simulation to see the aerodynamics of this particular design but i really need to see how the wind effects the rotation of the bullet as it flies through the air. So i know it will have to be a super sonic flow with time dependency and will have to add the rotation of the bullet as it comes out of the barrel but how will i set up a study to determine the spin after 500 yards or longer?
