Flow Control Valve Operation

Here is my issued.

I got a flow control valve (FCV) that the main objective of the valve is control the minimun flow of the pump in the recirculation line to the tank (first case), Suction pump (second case).
FCV is a fisher 2052, controller DVC 6200 HW2.
there are two pumps, both with a orifice plate to measured the flow of each pump in the discharge line, acoording to the P&D the signal of the two pumps go to the controller and the controller totalized the flow and calculated the travel of the FCV in order to keep the miminum flow of the pump.

my questions are the following:
how do I configure the set point?
how it works the FCV acoording to the minimum flow, in the point od view of control system.
the FCV (LAYOUT, CONFIGUTARION) can be used to control the pressure, due to at a certain point I need to control the pressure to supply a tank.

I'm not exactly sure what the question is, but here is m best guess....

The Setpoint for re-circulation has to be determined by the pump data, or the product the pump is pumping.

The pump will have a minimum flow based on pump curves.

The product may have limitations as well: viscosity, heat buildup, etc... that will indicate what the setpoint should be.

The setpoint for the min flow FIC will dependant on the number of pumps in operation - the SP should be 2x the min flow for each pump when 2 pumps are in operation, and should drop to 1x min flow when only one pump is in operation. So you need to get a run status signal from the MCC from each of these pumps to allow the FIC to change SP accordingly.
