Hello everybody,

I have a question that might be quite basic, but I wanted to know if it would be possible to "fix" the camera location. Normally, the camera rotates around a location defined by the user, but I would like to choose the camera location (for example inside a box, to be able to check the inner geometry without using any transparency).

I have tried quite many options in the view parameters, but it seems that I cannot find the one i want.

Thank you for help,

Jérôme

Dear Jerome,
I don't understant very well your problem: what I use a lot is command "VIEW > ROTATE > ROTATION CENTER", this is my favorite icon to rotate the model, allows to pick in a point (set SNAP TO POINT) and the full model rotates around the coordinates of the selected point.

Your position (the observer) is always the same.

Best regards,
Blas.

Thank you for your reply,

Unfortunately, it did not work for me, so maybe I have an option off.
The camera rotates indeed around the point, but my issue is that I want the observer to be on the point as well, in order to keep a fixed location of the observer.
I am studying the inner part of a bone and i would like to be able to be in the center of the bone and turn the camera to obtain a 360° view of it from the inside. It would be nice if I could choose the observer location.

Best regards,

Jérôme
