Is it necessary (mandatory) to use a firefighting systems (firefighting pumps and network for example hydrants, deluge,... on offshore oil and gas platforms? If so, which standard does it refer to? Actually I have tried to find what is the criteria to use firefighting systems and I couldn't find it.
