Hello Everyone!
We manufacture composite private aircraft interior and exterior parts and panels. A customer is requesting a drop off on the price for their parts, and allow us to consult different alternate materials from the actuals used in order to save and provide a better price for them for cost reduction purposes.
The materials used on their parts are:
* PREPREG, PHENOLIC 7781
* PYROPEL SHT .125 : The pyropel is basically a Polyimide Fiber Insulating Felt
These materials were added to the drawing back in 1996. Does anybody know any newer materials to be used in order to replace actual ones or maybe an old material that was not considered back then?
Any help will be really appreciated.
