Dear All,

I am interested to know of any literature available that details the derivation of a finite element in spherical curvelinear co-ordinates. Specifically I am interested in elements for potential problems such as heat conduction. I found a nice paper which developed finite elements in cylindrical polar co-ordinates using a logrithmic substitution, however, I have been unable to find such an element in spherical co-ordinates.

Any help much appreciated,

James
