Hello,

I am attempting to find the variation in period for the acceleration of a seismic wave. Is this possible in excel? I would like to find both the average and the variation in period throughout the sequence.

Thank You for the Assistance,

DK

I would think that Matlab with the signal processing toolbox might be more utilitarian, but Excel can do FFTs, so it's hypothetically possible. However, it's likely that a conventional FFT will not necessarily produce the desired data.
