Find real author of solid edge file

Hello, Im a teacher for Anderson High School and need to find out how or what to use to find who really created the solid edge files in my class. There has been alot "sharing of parts" and need to find the org. author. thanks

Using Windows Explorer, right-mouse-button click on a file & under the Properties > General tab find the earliest Created date.

When you use explorer or even solid edge it allows you to change the org. author and replace it with yours. Any embeded info I can get out of the part file?

If you open the SE file and open the file properties, the Statistics tab will tell you the logon name of the user who last saved the file. This is as good as it gets.
