filtering cloud of points

now there is a cloud of points (10000)which has to be segregated in between 2 layers.and i need an output of these points.

this can possibly done in pro/verify but i dont know how.

can anyone suggest how i can go about the problem

I work with scanned points. You can share all of them in several groups. You can do that in *.pts file
