I urgently need budgetary unit prices for typical implementation employed at thermal power plants, such as switches and transmitter for temperature, pressure, level; temperature elements; temperature controllers, etc. Is anyone aware of some web references where I can find any such pricing info. Devices I need cover a wide spectrum of ranges, so any info from any market would be of great help. Honeywell used to have some online pricing but looks like not any more... Thank you very much.

I am not aware of any vendor that publishes their price on-line. In most projects that I do, the price for the same instrument will vary according to:
- who the end user is (most have pricing agreements in place)
- project bundle (instrument, valves and DCS - one price; instrument only - another price)
- what time/date (this week - one price; next week - another price)
- whether this is a new client (they may "buy" the job)

I use an instrument distributor's site ( for budgetary numbers, precisely because pricing is available without waiting for a quotation.

Our plant uses a fair amount of Honeywell equipment and you mentioned that brand, so it might be a fit for you.
