Today I came accross a fitting that I have not seen before. The fitting is on a fiberglass tank (I primarily use SS).
They use a triclamp style, and size face gasket, but the OD of the flange is much larger than a standard triclamp. Also, the "clamp lip" and flange are much thicker than anything I have seen before. The fitting is entirely fiberglass. Initially I thought that it was grooved end-seal type fitting, but then I noticed the gaskets.
Any suggestions, other than call the tank manufacturer
