Fiberglass Storage Tanks 1

Dear Gents,

Could you possibly inform me whether in-service horizontal foam concentrate fiberglass storage tanks (2000liters) are subjected to periodic inspections? and whether they are considered pressure vessels and required to be certified by a third party?

I wonder what checks can be done to them? and which code/standard governs their inspection?

Whether this is a pressure vessel or not depends on its design pressure / MAWP and what its design code is, if any.

If this is an atmospheric pressure storage tank then there is little stated about inspection other than good practice depending on the toxicity or hazardous nature of the contents.
