FHWA - Circular No4 - Passive resistance calculation (SANDS)

Hi everyone, I've been struggling with calculate the column of Wedge resistance (intersecting wedges)(Shown in the Appendix B).

I can't get the same results as in the spreadsheet example. How should I compute thar resistance when di>0?

I would really appreciate it any kind of help, becuase I saw another post like this one, but it wasn't helpful.
