Hello,
I have a problem which shouldn't be there in theory. Im working on same plate models in FEMAP, with about 80000 elements. The laptop im working on has the following specs:
Windows xp 32 bit.
Intel C2D T9500 @2,6 Ghz (dualcore)
3 gig ram
generic HD
Out of curiosity I tried running the same simulation on my macbook pro. I have a windows partition on there.
Windows 7 64 bit
Intel Core i7 2635QM @2 Ghz (quadcore)
4 gig ram
generic HD
The result: the macbook is slower than the original laptop. This doesnt seem reasonable to me? Are there any settings or paramters i should use for optimization for my macbook?
hoping to hear from you,
Bert
