Hi,

I'm in the aircraft/aerospace business and was wondering if anyone knows of an online card/printout that gives the fastener hole size for various fit types (transition fit, shifted transition, etc).

Thanks much,
Dan

Are you asking for 'specialty' aerospace fasteners (like those causing trouble with the 787 etc. or for general fasteners (screws, rivets etc)? For specialty fasteners I'd look at the vendor/distributer website.

The standard fit tables are usually for shaft/hole combinations, not explicitly for fasteners thread182-237489 gives links to shaft fits.

Machineries has drill & counterbore size chart from the relevant ASME standard.

Metric is also in machineries or
We have our own chart for certain screw types where I work but I'm not sure I can post it.

KENAT,

Have you reminded yourself of faq731-376 recently, or taken a look at posting policies:
