I have acquired some Farnell Penetrometers, but have no idea how to calibrate them. I also have had no success in locating anyone whom would be able tpo assist in the calibration post the acquisition of Farnell & Co LTD. Can anyone please advise?
Also, I am looking into any and all research in the comparison of DCP, FARNEL , CBR analysis as a CBR machine setup is unachievable at this stage. Could anyone advise of any foundation / soil reports they have seen that use Farnell Penetrometers as the means of assessing CBR?
I acknowledge there are differences in local codes / council requirements (for context, I am working in Australia). I am trying to learn as much as I can regarding these tools, so anything will be appreciated!
