Can anyone here provide a link detailing the proper test method of determining a fan performance curve on a flow bench device? I know it can be done, however I'm not sure at to the procedure and any other standards that are relative to the test.

RedFlag this and state: you put it "in the wrong forum".(So you don't get harangued for double posting)

Re-ask the question in, I suggest,forum237. The biggest concentration of motor load experts(fans) are in there.

noslo,

For industiral fan testing, what you need is the ISO 5801. It's a good procedure that enables you to do a full check of your vendor's actual data. I've been involved in testing acc to this procedure and it turned out rather nice as I was able to verify on a very detailed level. The ISO 5801 is a well recongnized standard and I think you can enjoy this for several hours. At least I did.
