Dear Colleagues,
Can you please recommend an engineering company which has a proven experience in the design of a Falling Film Absorber. A company location doesn't really matter.
The application is an absorption methanol vapor by lithium bromide solution.

Thanks,
Mike

Dear Colleagues,
Any recommendations ??
Could you please recommend the engineering book that can be used to calculate a falling film absorber?

Thanks,

Mike

There is a very brief note about falling film absorber heat exchangers in Perry in the chapter on heat transfer equipment design ( see page 11-40 in the 7th edn). No design procedure here. Dont see anything on Google either for this methanol doped lithium bromide aqueous solution, other than this, which may be of interest from a VLE standpoint - see page 42 - Fig 15 of this doc:-

Have you spoken to Carrier ?
