Hi all,

I am solving a prob which involves a fluid coupling.

This is was i need to know about the fluid coupling.

How much time does the fluid coupling provide as a delay before it couples the load to the motor.

I know that it depends on the orifice size and also the angle of fluid fed into the chamber. But when i go through the manual they say 100% of the original, 250% of the original, 440% of the original. What does that original refer to.

Also is there a linear relationship with the motor speed and the liquid pumped into the working chamber.

hopefully someone can answer

The 'original' refers to the plug initially furnished. See paragraph 5 in the instructions. Don't know what the initial or original startup time is with the initial orifice. Maybe someone else can help with that.
