Which AASHTO are you reading - Standard or LRFD?

If you are using the Standard specs theres ASD & LFD. For example, if you are using Standard Specs - LFD your FS for DL is 1.3 and your FS for Live Load is 2.17.

The best way to determine the reserve capacity is to perform a load rating.

Thanks Bridge buster using the LRFD.
