Folks,
Does anyone out there have practical experience with screw discharge extrusion from Z-Blade mixers?
I am currently working on a project where we would like to fill vacuum casting moulds directly from a Z-blade mixer. The material is a very viscous thermoplastic elastomer.
Our concerns are with the degradation of the material at the outlet between batches and the pressure being sufficient to fill the moulds.
