Hi folks,

Hoping someone has maybe come up against this issue before and knows of an elegant solution.

I am using STAAD Pro v8i for analysis and for various reasons need to extract, to Excel, the beam utilisations for every load case and every load combination. For those of you familiar with STAAD you'll know the default output only gives the utilisation for the single governing case.

I am aware I can use the LOAD LIST and TRACK commands to report utilisations for each case, and then copy the results manually from the output file to excel.

I find this makes the analysis take an extremely long time to run and the copying to Excel manually is generally a pain, and once done, the output is in a difficult to work with format (e.g. no CSV file so the results are difficult to filter).

Is anyone aware of a better way to go about getting utilisations for every case into excel in a usable format?

Note, unfortunately I have no option to use anything other than STAAD.

Thanks in advance for any tips.
