External Refference Paths

'Search Path' is only an option once the error message appears?

Which is what I'm trying to avoid in the first place....please explain?
 
Use this option in your config.pro


search_path_file and enter the location of your search path file.





is't a text file that contains the Paths or location of the pro E files.

I haven't had a chance to try either of these methods as yet (weekend). But will either of these methods mean that I will be able to open up my new assembly and it will automatically search/look in the directoires I set without a prompt/error missing part request?

After completion of your part designing, edit the external refrence & make it independent. I hope this could work for you!!

Yes.

I believe you must rename your file search.pro
