Hi;
i have a problem about the life time calculation of a bearing in a system. the system includes a shaft and a spiral bevel gear, a double row angular contact ball bearing and a clutch on this shaft. DRACB bearing carry radial, axial, tangential loads and moments. how can i calculate the life time of this bearing? meaning that how can i add the moment effects to life time calculations?

Thanks...
Baris

I give it about ten minutes, if you've only got one DRACBB. You need to add a radial bearing to help with the moment loads, or use two separate ACBBs, spaced apart axially some distance.
