In external terrace designs that utilize a topping slab over a membrane, over a structural slab, and with integrated dual tier drains (i.e., the drains that have a lower level of seepage holes), is everyone typically seeing requirements for the top of the structural slab to slope toward the drains? Are there any good references to show the standard of practice of exterior terrace drainage design?

First thought is that I would have the slab slope towards the drains to prevent any sort of ponding, if not I would at least want some kind of drop from interior finished floor to exterior and understand that ponding may occur and the slab should be sized to support the rain load
