What the heck???

I'm trying to export a drawing to DWG. It contains five views, all set to sheet scale. Sheet scale is set to 1:8. When I save as DWG, I uncheck the "Scale 1:1" option, which (I think) should save the DWG at the sheet scale--1/8 of actual size.

I open the DWG in AutoCAD, and it's full size (1:1). I've tried DWG and DXF, 1:1 checked and unchecked... nothing works. EVERYTHING I export is in full scale. Any ideas on what might be going on? I'll provide more info or files if necessary. Thanks,

Brian
