Hello,
Back in NX5, I have my computer setup so that when I right click on a .prt file, I can export STP, IGS, & JT files and also change the units.
I am trying to recreate this on NX11 and I am having problems making it work.
I started with doing the translation in NX and saving the configuration/settings.
My setting in the C:\Program Files\Siemens\NX 11.0\PVTRANS\tessUG.config is monolithic.
When I right click on an assembly, it would translate each component as a separate JT and the top assembly would not be translated. I can see in the command prompt that the translator is using the correct tessUG.config.
If I translate while in NX, it creates one JT file of the top assembly and all the components are in there.
On the STP translator, I got it to work but the STP file goes to C:\windows\system32 folder.
TIA.
