Hello,

I need to go through all of my components in an assembly, and I need to export some properties of the plates with the expression "thickness" to a spreadsheet. The excel would contain the total weight and area for the plates with a certain thickness, something like this:
Material_psfcmo.png

Another excel could list the different dimensions of plates for a certain thickness and the number of them, like on this picture:

Do you know a good solution for this? I'm using NX12.

Thanks in advance,

If you have these values assigned to your components as attributes.
2 solutions.
1) either customize the Assembly navigator such that it shows these attributes , right click the headers- properties -columns, either type in the EXACT attribute or use the "Attribute Column Selector" to find and add the attribute.
Then right click in the "white space" of the assembly navigator - Export to spreadsheet.
or:
2) Set up a parts list template that reports these attributes.
Insert that partslist, Right click -export...
This is probably simplest done using a drawing file but can be done in the model / Modeling if The parts list is the one defined in your customer defaults.

Regards,
Tomas
