Hello,
I am stuck with a problem regarding contact dynamics. In order to make things easier I will try to simplify the matter.
Let's say I have a 1D domain where a moving mass (M) with acceleration a0 and velocity v0 hits another mass (m) attached to a fixed reference system trough a spring of stiffness ks.
O o---\/\/\/\-----||
M m ks
I would like to solve this problem with an explicit approach (central difference).
What could be a possible algorithm?
Thank you in advence!
