We're working on a seismic retrofit project and need to determine the diaphragm capacity of the existing metal deck. Unfortunately, there are no existing building drawings so we're taking field measurements and making conservative assumptions.
Some of the older guys here in the office have mentioned a NAVFAC worksheet that has guidance for existing metal decks. Of course, they can't seem to recall where it is, and I can't find it online. Is anybody familiar with this resource and, if so, can you send over a link or point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
