Exhaust silencer with plate type flame trap

Hi guys,

I hope you guys could help me with this, currently i am working on a offshore power gen project using waukehsa l36gl lcr gas engine as the generator. this is an offshore project and classified as zone 2, part of the requirements is to provide spark arrestor silencer in combination with plate type flame trap. here are my questions:

1. does the flame trap will be integral part of silencer?
2. do you have any suggestion on whom should i contact for this kind of item. i have been asking most of the silencer companies and all of them do not manufacture such silencer. is it possible that i got the whole flame trap idea wrong.

I would try either Waukesha-Pearce or SEC, both in Houston and both heavily involved in oil and gas support.
