Can anybody please help me with excel formula for the following:

1. Given are, Manning's n, Slope S, Pipe diameter D and discharge in the circular pipe Q.

2. How can I find the flow depth "D" in the for a given discharge in the pipe "Q".

Please help.

Thanks

I would plot three or four points on a graph with the depth on the horizontal axis and the Q,(flow), on the vertical axis. Add more points near the location of the Q given and then interpolate. Land Desk and other programs have flow curves equations built in, just enter the required variables.
