Excavation >20'

There's an OSHA trigger that if excavation is deeper than 20' it requires a "design by a professional engineer".

If it's just an open excavation at 1.5:1 max slope, is anything else required besides a basic plan showing the extent of excavation, a section showing the max slope, reference to the type of soil and some daily inspection notes?
