What is the evaporation rate of 20W oil at 150* and -2"Hg. The surface is 45 SF.

frim:

You need to clarify your posting. What is 150*? Is it degrees F or degrees C or what?

Also what is 45 SF? Is it sq. ft. or what?

In any event, you will find three methods for calculating the evaporation rate from non-boiling liquid pools if you visit:

www.air-dispersion.com/usource.html

If you want see those methods in SI metric units, then visit:

www.air-dispersion.com/msource.html

I'm not sure whether those three methods apply for a system under a slight vacuum (i.e., -2" Hg) but perhaps you will them useful.
