Has anyone experienced impurities which result in low UV transmittance during the production of ethylene glycol? There is limited research/technical articles describing reaction mechanisms or root causes for the generation of impurities. Experience at our plant has only identified air ingress into the vacuum systems as a possible cause. Any suggestions out there?
