Hello,

Just wondering if etabs has anything equivalent to RISA 3D's soil compression springs, where I can easily input the subgrade modulus and Risa will automatically assign it accordingly to each of the four sides of the plates. What would be the etabs equivalent method to achieve this?

Is there a way to stay linear with these compression springs? or do we have to start creating nonlinear cases?

Area springs will do that, analytically adds a point spring at the corners of a defined mesh.

If you want a compression only spring, you need to do a non-linear static case
