Hi,

I have created an assembly that uses inter-part expressions where I can change the expression to change certain dimensions easily across the entire assembly. I tried to create a clone of the original assembly. When I tried using the clone the sub-parts of the assembly would not load so I deleted the assembly. Assuming this was just a simple error in the cloning process I went back to my original copy to try to clone again. When I tried to open my original copy the assembly would not load fully saying that the reason for failure is "Invalid foreign expression. The full assembly is visible but is only partially loaded. When I try to update the model, make any one part my displayed, and/or work part the same message appears. So now I cannot even open the components individually. All give the same foreign expression load error.

I have tried everything I can think of to help including changing the load options to the current file, exporting the .prt file without parameters, even copying the files and naming them to mimic the cloned files.

Is there a way in NX to ignore the expressions when loading a part so I can try to re-name them or see if there is any problem with them? I can still see the original expression list when loading the assembly and it looks unchanged.

I am new to NX so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
