Error using Visual ModelQ simulation software used in Control System Design Guide textbook

I've recently started learning from George Ellis' Control System Design Guide, however I'm having issues running simulations in the Visual ModelQ software (Attached text document containing the error received) on a Windows 10 machine. Essentially the software crashes anytime I attempt to click 'play' on one of the model experiments found in the textbook.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue and know how to fix it?
