I'm not sure how to use this forum it's been so long and I don't see a way to contact him here.

A schematic posted by Keith Cress for the GFI has an error.
..
I was looking for a GFI schematic to show someone how the test button works and this image looked good in Google, but has an error.
Unfortunately I originally missed something thinking there were two errors and corrected THIS posting to remove my one error.

20 May 19 by Keith Cress [ I'm not sure how these dates are written]
About half way down the page.
the HOT connection could also be connected to the load side of the CT. .. My original error. Sorry..

2 - Also, the upper neutral is labeled ground instead of neutral.

Regards, Steve

.
Sorry if this is appropriate, but it says this will reference the target thread, so I assume it should also notify Keith. . .

Removed earlier post- typing at the same time, OP realized his error.

The upper neutral is labelled as "grounded conductor" which is correct. You may be confusing it with grounding conductor which is a different item.

There is no error. Grounded conductor is what the neutral is called.

Why drag up a >4 year old post about something which no-one here can correct?
