Hello all,

I would like to know if anyone has any idea of an equivalent material for C93700 SAE64.

Thanks.

Equivalent in what way?
Why do you want an alternate?
What grades have you considered?

Hi EdStainless,

Equivalent with regards to the chemical and mechanical properties.
I need an alternate because I can't find the specific material I need in the market.
I considered SAE660 but I would like to know if there are any other materials which can fit.

C93200 SAE 660 really was developed as an alternative to C93700 as it is cheaper, more available, and has mechanical property improvements. Otherwise, you'll have to do the legwork to see which equivalent bronzes would work for your application. I usually look in the Worldwide Guide to Equivalent Nonferrous alloys for questions such as yours (available from ASM International).
