equivalent k value (spring and tyre stiffness)

Im trying to determine the correct equivalent k values for the spring rates for the sprung and unsprung mass.

For instance, is kspring + ktyre correct for the unsprung part (when trying to calc. the critical damping for example)?

Twin tyre would then also simply be kspring + 2 x ktyre right.
