I have a piece of equipment that weights 30 ton. The pad size is 8'6

It's not clear what you're after. Presumably, you want to know thickness/reinforcing.
The proper way to design such a pad is as a beam on elastic foundation. Given that, more information is required:

1. Footprint of machine
2. Dimensions of pad
3. Subgrade modulus, k (lbs/cu in)
4. Allowable net bearing capacity of the soil

Not to mention a geotechnical engineer should evalulate the potential settlement. If the machine is hard connected, settlement may govern the design.

I doubt you will get someone to design it and e-mail you the design for free, but maybe that's just me.
