A curve table is probably the fastest method, but you might also be able to create it with construction geometry. I created an involute curve once using this method. Since an involute can be defined as the path traversed by a point on a string as the string is unwound from a circle, I mimicked this in a sketch. The trick was using the variable table to make the "string" segment lengths equal to the corresponding arc lengths. You could incorporate your equation in the variable table.
