I am attempting to calculate the permability of rock and am in need of an equation to do so. My knowns are the depth and diameter of the boring along with the amount of fall after some time. Also according to groundwater data, static water could be within the boring. I have found equations that address above and below the static groundwater table above and below, but nothing with both. If I assume that I am below the table I get a very high number. And all equations that I can find for above the water table account for numberous readings at different times and I only have one.
