An epicylic gear train consists of a sun gear with 24 teeth, a planet gear with 28 teeth and an internal gear (annulus)which is fixed. How do you calculate the holding torgue at the annulus when 9kW is transmitted at 700 rpm through the input shaft on which the sun gear is mounted?

this sounds like a student post ... have you tried wiki ?
