EPDM / Silicone discoloration problem

Dear all,
I hope you can suggest something to help.
I am using EPDM rubber under compression and in contact with silicone sealant. After a couple of months, the white silicone turned yellow, and I think the problem is some components migrating from EPDM and diffusing into the silicon. If you have any suggestions to help, I really appreciate it.

Contact discoloration is a possible issue for rubber. The plasticizer in EPDM can cause it. Unless you can alter the formulation by using less and/or other types of oil, I have no solution for you.
