Hello everyone,
Am a final year student using epanet for the modelling of a distribution tank. Am having difficulties in determining my tank initial level, maximum level, minimum level and the diameter of my tank. The width of my tank is 44m, length is 44m and height is 5m. Please i need your help on this. A copy of my work is attached

Convert the dimensions of your tank from a rectangular tank to a circular tank. EPAnet doesn't know if it is round or square and it doesn't matter as long as the volume per depth doesn't change. If this is a real distribution system you should check with the operator to determine the initial level. If its not a real system, then anywhere from 2/3 to 3/4 full is reasonable, depends on what it is you are asking about the operation of the system. The maximum level will be the elevation of the overflow pipe. The minimum level will be the elevation of the bottom of the tank. The maximum and minimum levels are only important if you are running an extended period simulation.
