I have a complex model in EPANET. I want to import additional pipes, nodes, and tanks from an AutoCAD drawing and have converted the info using EPACAD to create a .inf file. When I import the .inf file, it over-writes and destroys the existing information in my EPANET model.
Is there a way to import additional information into an EPANET model without destroying the data that is already there?

The .inp files are in ASCII

The help section has all the details on the format of the nodes, links, pumps, controls ect. All the data is there in plain text.

You could manually combine the two files by converting them to .inp files then cut and past the sections together, then import back to . net files
